doesn't hitting someone in the face count as disqualification? atleast it did when we played at my high school XD

It's been years since I played dodgeball, so I don't know, but that rule sounds very likely. However, when the comic is set on a ship out in the ocean far away from any government, and is 115 years into the future, who knows what the house rules are gonna be. I think at that point, dodgeball would be replaced by laser tag in the United States(with things that intentionally don't resemble guns). More reliable judging, and no possible lawsuits.
