Be careful when you're buying cheap potions from dodgy potion dealers. You never know what might be in them!

You knew you got a great deal as you look at the potion you bought off the dealer. The green liquid sloshes around the glass as you walk down the street. You needed something that would give you increased stamina to help you last longer in the heat of battle in those dark dungeons and castles. Going into your house, you lock the door behind you and set the potion down on the table. Sitting down, you stare at the potion as sits there on the table. You wonder how on earth the potion dealer could be breaking even by selling those potions at such a high discount. A couple of minutes pass and you eventually uncork the bottle. Bringing it up to your nose and sniffing, the potion has a refreshing mint smell to it.

Bringing the bottle upto your lips, you drink some of the contents of it to test it. Afterall, you've planned another castle dungeon exploration in a couple of days time. You find the mint taste highly refreshing as it hangs around in the walls of your mouth. Setting the bottle back down on the table, you wait to see the effects of the potion. Your stomach rumbles a couple of times and then nothing happens. Scowling and muttering to yourself, you knew this was too good to be true and that your hard earned money had gone to waste. Your stomach rumbles again and you feel stabbing pains in your gut. Quickly standing up, you arch your back clutching at your stomach groaning in pain. Dropping to your knees and then all fours, you inadvertently knock the glass off the table spilling the contents of it over the floor.

Your skin crawls and you feel intense heat coursing through your entire body. You pant hard and fast as your body begins to react to whatever was in that potion which was clearly no stamina potion. The sensations in your hands intensify and you look down at them. With mouth agape, you see your knuckles crack and expand. Your fingers slowly lengthen making sickly popping sounds. Your fingernails start turning grey and slowly stretch out reforming into claws. Screaming out in horror, you look on wide-eyed as your skin dries out and takes a light brown scaly look. Gripping the floor hard, your feet lengthen as your legs begin to forcefully shift to a digitigrade posture. Two of your toes shrink whilst your remainging toes swell giving your legs a distinct reptilian look to them.

The heat intensifies in your body as your muscles swell across your whole body. Your clothes being to feel tight as they become too small for your growing form. The seams slowly open up and then patches of your clothing rip open as your clothing was pushed to the limit. You feel a series of crackling stabbing pains in your teeth as they begin to sharpen. Your canines lengthen giving you an increasingly feral look. You feel pressure building in your tailbone as something begins to grow out which was being uncomfortably constricted by your pants. Seconds later, the backside of your pants rip open and a thick tail emerges, whipping around as your emotions run wildly out of control. Your shoulderblades ache intensely and felt as though they were being split open. Letting out a monstrous sounding scream, extra limbs grow out which you realise were wings. You were all too aware now that you were being transformed into somekind of monster. One of the very things that you battled in the past. You feel the magical energy filling your head and know that the inevitable was about to happen.

You feel a tugging sensation along the tops of your ears as they begin to lengthen giving you an increasingly animalistic appearence. A series of cracks reverberate around your skull. You close your eyes and scream out as your face and head begin to change. Your nose upturns and flattens against your face as the lower part of your face slowly pulls forward into a small muzzle. Parts of your skull press hard against your skin and pierce through exposing themselves giving you small horns along your cheeks, chin and scalp. Falling down onto the floor, a couple of more cracks and pops sound out across your body as the transformation slows. Out of breath and panting, you stare up at the ceiling in a state of shock not fully realising the magnitude of the situation you was in and that your life had been change forever.
