My sweet lovely boy
Sergeant commissioned this work from
Voondahbayosh as a gift for me, to encourage me to see myself as a carefree otter. It's a very good likeness, and I'm very grateful for it.

Very nice. Yeah, it's good to try out that side.
I kind of have an otter side too; strange, i don't have any of the art up here.
Anyway, I was looking for a bear avatar in Second Life, and wasn't having much success at it. And the occupational hazard of bears is too fucking serious. All the time.
So I had this strange convoluted dream with my family, in a small town with a railroad, and something about this side of the tracks or the other. And we went into a restaurant, and the interior was exterior vertical siding painted gray, and there was a window in the waiting area, and you could see the railroad tracks and switches.
The windowsill was like a foot deep. And on the windowsill was a statue of an otter, standing on hind legs, with kind of a nice curving sweep to his body. He was holding a sign, and smiling. The sign said:
For a new form, why not try Otter?
So I did. Second Life, I'm named Orson, but he's a little otter. Otter taught me to be playful and find the wonder in things.
Orson also forgets to put his clothes on a lot. Clothes being about what you're wearing in that pic. He used to hang out at a nude beach in 2L, and kinda went to meeting of his pagan group sporting a full erection. I was using a non-graphical client, so I didn't see it. I have great friends; they didn't mind.
In real life, I've been accused of swimming like an otter...

My boy gets concerned about me; sometimes he thinks I get too worried about things. So he wanted me to have a happy playful otter, so that when I got too anxious about things, I could imagine being Daddy Ott and chillax a bit.
I haven't been in SL in years. I wonder if I even still have an account there...
