It's honestly hard to say. I cant speak for everyone of course, but for some it's a sensory thing that has to do with how it feels to "sit in shit". Ok to try and calm this fight. Some people have different things they enjoy. Some find them nasty some find them fun, some normal some weird, etc. For some this is enjoyable cause of the warmth, feeling of it, naughtiness, etc. there's a variety of reasons people enjoy fetishes.
