Because, even if she has to remain very careful with strangers because of her inner nature, Kishi is still a Lutraï and Lutraïs are mostly friendly with other species as long are they're nice, and not too big ! WereFox was known as a famous Guardian from the Wind Memories' village. As Kyoon and her were traveling through their lands they heard about the quiet red giant Zorro holding an axe. That's probably why, when she first saw him, walking silently around the river, like he was patroling, she didn't feel scared. Deep inside she believed it was him, the Guardian from the villagers' stories. Then, when she caught enough fishes for dinner she simply run back to the camp, and when she met him along her way, walking on the wooden bridge just a few step away, she simply smiled and waved at him while she was passing him. He smiled back. And Kishi left with the feeling that they will probably meet again and, most important, that she could trust her instinct again.
