Yep! I kinda want to try growing a cashew tree. Supposedly the pseudofruit is really sweet and pulpy like a tamarind and can be eaten whole. :3

It's amazing, the weird stuff that nobody thinks to eat, but is actually tasty. I learned a while back that you can fry up corn silk and eat it. It's sweet. :3

Nice! This summer I'm gonna try fried plantains since they wild grow in our apartment complex. :3

Meh... I'm embarrassed to admit that, even as a lifelong California resident, that one went over my head. Who's Courtney Mortamore?

Have you seen the most recent commercials for the California Lottery?

It starts out with some guy in a store, and the Lottery announcers voice is lip-synced with the store clerk. Then there's a woman sitting on a park bench and a little girl hanging upside down on a playground climbing thingy calls out the woman's name, and again, it's the Lottery announcer. The final bit is this woman walking up to the front door of her house, and her name (again in the Lottery announcers voice) is called out; and it's coming from a Squirrel on the lawn of her house "Courtney Mortamore."


Whew! Well that's were I got the off-the-wall comment above. Sorry for the confusion.

*slaps forehead* Okay, now I get it. Not sure why the squirrel would be so excited about that lady winning, unless he figured he'd get a new birdseed feeder out of the bargain.

I can enjoy a whole can of cashews ^.^

wow, you just made me realize just how much my camera sucks O.o that picture's so clear and detailed. what kind of camera do you use?

It's a Canon Digital Rebel. Earlier model, but still plenty good. I'm waiting on the newer ones to come down in price before I upgrade to a 40D.
