Pumpkin Parasite
One of Harry's favorite activities is wearing strange things on his head, such as fruit baskets, magical rings, inflatable rings, you name it. The sillier, the better.
So, when he was dared to wear a pumpkin during a festively-themed game of Truth or Dare, he was naturally quite excited when he thought he had gotten off the hook by getting to do something he enjoys.
unfortunately for him, the "pumpkin" he wore was actually a highly intelligent parasite that quickly grew all over him, making him into a pumpkin monster!
While the host technically retains control, the parasite releases a number aerosolized chemicals which are breathed in by the host, causing them to undergo a few subtle behavior changes, such as having a strong instinct to drag people away to convert them into more pumpkin monsters.
Something which he immediately did to everyone else who was playing the game with him.
I decided I didn't have enough Halloween art, so I set about fixing that.
Remember: Always check your pumpkins. Not sure if there is a way to check without testing it on someone first, though...

Well, it must be done, for there is no other way to know if a pumpkin is safe or not. As long as you practiced your cardio, you should be able to get away from anyone that the parasite is attempting to grow over in the time it takes for the process to be completed.
Well, unless you are in one of those maze-like apartment buildings or empty suburban streets, because then you're doomed either way, those vine fingers can extend outward by a good 30 meters!
