I should really spend more time toying around with scanning parameters. Some light shades really got the boot by the scanner *grumble grumble*

Hello! Yes, it's been a while (who's coughing there?!), but let's say I've finally my drawing mojo again. Two years of being virtually invisible on dA has brought a lot of changes, and let's hope now they're for the better at least.

Hmm, what? Oh yes, the drawing. I've been practicing with drawing characters and scenery in perspective and this is the most recent attempt, although it's not nearly as perspective heavy as I would've liked. I also tried a bit of a different shading style than I'm normally used to do. The shadows do look a bit too contrasted against the relatively light objects, certainly with the weather portrayed in the picture, but at the last moment I was just straining to get this on the web, that I felt rushing it would be detrimental. I also suck at drawing cloud formations.

So here it is, Banzai enjoying a cup of (chestnut ?) tea just outside a teahouse watching a calm snow shower come down. Pretty relaxing isn't it?
