Even with all that fur, ferrets sometimes can't handle colder climates. Waking up, shivering, Alex asks "Latch, can I wear your clothes for warmth?" What a silly question. However the crocodile obliges, pleased that he could keep the ferret warm. Sure he could've just given him an extra blanket or something, but the decision to keep him warm by cuddles alone was clearly quite pleasing to the ferret. How precious.
