Wow, that's really interesting, but do you use it that way for sketching only? Or you have buttons on your tablet?

I can't possibly do that since I need my undo for inking, that's why I considered something like a Surface to draw on

I can't do that either, because my tablet gets interference from the laptop :/

nope, I do it this way for everything. My tablet does have buttons but I rarely use them, since there's an undo button on the drawing program I use. And if I need the keyboard I just lift the tablet up. Kinda weird but I've gotten used to it haha

Hmm, I guess we work differently! I can't live without my undo and if there's an undo button on my programs, I never touch it since I would have to move my pen away from the drawing area and that takes too much of my time. But it's true that one can adapt to a workspace, like I'll have to do with a display when I ever get one xD

Thanks so much!! And well I'm bad with advice, but I try to draw everyday, even if it's just a little doodle. And I'm always trying new things, and pulling inspiration from other artists. Other than that well, I just kind of keep going and let my style develop however it wants to, really. :)

I know the feeling of drawing on the wrong layer, and I'm not even an artist.

Now that I think of it, Pokémon Art Academy's "only outline pen can draw on the outline layer" limit is an ingenious solution to this problem.
