Agreed! I play a medic sometimes and everyone cries out for healing instantly but no one will so much as spare a healing pack for me...

I didn't know a pyro could extinguish a burning teammate...

This has happened to me a lot of times.

People start calling for Medic right after I come out of respawn because I was healing them when we were charging and everyone is like SHOOT THE DOCTOR.

Nobody respects me when I'm a medic, either. I pull out my Blutsauger when my healing target is dead and everybody is all "You know Battle Medic is over-rated..." Garharhgarhgh.

You missed the bit where you shout for the pyro you're healing NOT TO PICK UP a small med pack because they got hit by a single FLARE and you are on fire and have 15 health and 95% ubercharge. ARGHGJKGJLG

*Takes off hat for all the millions of ubercharges lost due to incompetent team mates who then make passive aggressive comments along the lines of "*sigh* We need an ubercharge to get past here...*"

Hey now, I always put out fires with my air blast. And my new favorite hobby is deflecting arrows/jarates to make snipers angry. AIR IS BETTER THAN FIRE!

This remains the single reason why whenever I play medic, I go Rambo. No one appretiates the healing really.

See, I don't get that. If you're a sniper with jarate, and you see anyone on fire, your immediate reaction should be to throw piss on them. If they're an ally, you just put 'em out. If they're an enemy, they're now taking minicrit fire damage, which is hilarious.

Oh man, I've watched that happen so many times. :(

am I one of the few people that if I'm hurt and not under fire and find that the medic healing me is hurt, I'll lead him to health packs and protect him on the way?
