I have several ideas, tried a couple roughes but this is my very first completed Zootopia fanart - and I don't like it much, both character are somewhat off. Not bad enough to throw it to the trash though.
Zootopia got a very perverse effect on me, I liked it so much (saw it twice within a few days) that I now am afraid to watch any other animated material...

It will never be like the past (I can tell you that because it's not the first time such a thing happened, and each time something was lost), but I am trying my best. Thanks Osprey, and also once again, thanks for your screen captures site, which helped me by the past more than I told you, at least for inspiration if not always as a direct working material...
Because I am afraid to be disappointed, VERY disappointed. Zootopia set the level so high in animation, characters, story and everything that I feel like I would not be able to appreciate fully any other animated feature before a long time. At least new ones, since I watched "a very goofy movie" a week ago and quite liked it (contrary to the first one), replacing it in its context of time and circumstances.
I guess I still have to wait and forget about it slowly. I already deliberatly missed "Sing" for these reasons.

Very good job on the two ladies here. I like how fuzzy Judy looks especially. Her ear tips and cheeks look really soft with the fur lines. Lola looks more spiky, though that is how she is drawn. Good positions and faces that fit their aggressive tone. I think Lola's right upper arm is too long. The right arm looks oddly stretched out to me. Her upper left arm also looks too long. Judy's outfit looks very close to the movie. Lola's shorts look pleasantly tight :)

I should have put more shadows Under her breasts (and folds on her belly, yes, above all folds down there now I realize) but Lola is bent downward toward us, this is why her arms seem so long - and why her belly is so short. I do slight ones from times to times, but I wouldn't have made such a blatant proportion mistake otherwise!!
