About a month ago, I was driving along, listening to the Biker Mice From Mars soundtrack, when this song came on, and although I'd heard it a dozen or so times already, it just conjured this image of a (small) cartoon mouse, with massive shades, just cruising down the highway.

Now, the image I had was far more comical and cartoony than this, sort of as a parody of the martian heroes, but as soon as I put pencil to paper, these things just tend to take on a life of their own.

I'm sure there are plenty of things wrong with it, for example I'm not particularly pleased with the jacket on the second (bottom right) sketch, but it's a pain to try and fix it, what with the smudging, and besides, I need to stop being such a perfectionist! I would have finished it weeks ago, but i just had to keep going back to it...

I am liking this character, though. He may reappear some time in the future.
