Another picture of my tokinese/turkish van girl, Ban. <3333
I started this one the night after finishing the first picture of her. I sat down and watched Hero (Jet Li movie) and Memoirs of a Geisha as I hadn't seen them in so long and got the idea to dress Ban in some Japanese themed club clothing. I always overkill on details and the whole thing is definitely one of the more detailed traditional media pieces I've done as of late. XD I love the koi in the first background bubble behind her, but oh god, my hand cramped so bad. Though the end result is well worth the massive pain lol~ I just wish the scanner didn't kill the colors ugh. x.x
I seriously love Ban, she has to be my favorite raver/club character out of the lot of them. <33333

That's for two reasons. XD First, if I put white in certain areas like where they are on her legs, it helps my scanner pick up more of the shadows (its on her shoulders too). And the second is just artistic freedom aka gettin' crazy with the paint pen~ XD
