I've just studied expressions for a long time. :3 It's mostly in the eyebrows, eyes, and mouth, but I adjust the position of the head and neck too for most of them. The goal is always to make every part of the character convey that expression. Takes a bit of practice, but after getting the hang of it these become pretty quick for me. I can usually sketch out five different emotions within about ten minutes, and have the completed stickers done in a few hours (depending on schedule of course!)
