This was small poem I wrote awhile back, it just kinda came to me.
I keep listening to 'When you love someone' by Bryan Adams
I guess, she will have to wait another night.

Fireflies surrounding us
the moon shining down
we try to hide
the way we both feel
We sit motionless, still
trying to avoid eye contact
I know you are sneaking glimpses
and I can't help to either
I wish you knew
the way I feel about you
do you feel the same?
do you get butterflies when I'm near?
You capture a firefly in your hands
gently you let it go
it heads towards the moon
seeking the light
Do I seek the light as well?
the light in your eyes
the beating of your heart
the softness of your smile
I resist the urge to move my hand
closer to yours, holding it
we're arms length away
but I want to be closer
We're sharing a moment
we've shared many
together, you and me
of which I have treasured all
I believe the stars shine for us
for you and me
each night we spend together
they grow brighter
I see the stars in your eyes
and can't look away
I want to remain like this
I can't look away now
You smile, your soft smile
I move closer, hold me
you don't move away
Hold me, please
"Terra" you say, my name
I answer, "Yes" my heart skips
its pounding now, please say it
"Its a beautiful night..."
