Aw, crap, they sound like they’re not telling the truth.
Well, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. For all they know, the sudden, convenient appearance of a young female centaur who doesn’t seem too happy to see them punished is just a ruse to get some form of false confession out of them.

but to be honest: you are watching to comic pages that are done 98% by my mother. I only do the rough sketching, she does the lineart and coloring. She writes down how the action should loock like and I do the "storyboarding", converting her written orders into sketches^^;

At worst the huskies crime could be considered the equivalent of manslaughter or possibly regicide with it being a queen bee though obviously unintentional though shaking the tree was probably a foolish move to start with. It could have been an entire hive brought down though the death of a queen bee would ultimately mean the death of a hive perhaps giving the reason for the centaurs anger. Equally the huskies could have been pursued by an entire swarm of angry bees and possibly stung to death.
The blue vested husky is probably the most foolish choosing to bluster when he's tied up and not even thinking of the flimsiest of excuses. The other husky, the one looking like he's a little nervous of what's coming is obviously smarter and maybe has an idea where this is going. The brown and blue boa may look adorable particularly in chibi form but with those expressions and the usual proclivities, we all know what's coming. Panel three with the brown boa's tail resting on the husky's foot serves as a nice piece of foreshadowing if it does turn out to be that time again.
