Nobody suspects a thing ^^
Ever wonder what it would look like if dragons flew by aviation regulations? Some personal art along lines close to my heart ensued :) Managed to spend about a month on and off on this one, putting together all the things I've learned so far and whole new techniques on shading, wings and mane too. The picture itself turned out huge at almost 6500x4600 pixels, but a smaller version here. Rather happy with the results really.
Turns out there's an anime coming out along somewhat similar themes as well, and I'm pretty excited about seeing it later!

I can only imagine what the chatter between tower and dragon would be like -"United 287 line up and wait for inbound dragon on final approach.....Black Dragon 1556 have you on final, clear to land on runway 19 left"...."Copy tower, clear to land on 19 left, Black Dragon 1556..."
