Driving around the city of Idallen trying to find her destination as fast as possible, Courtney Dirkson anxious excitement was creeping higher and higher. Squished into her seemingly small grey car, the normally human lawyer’s eyes darted around from building to business trying to match the description she had read regarding her destination. After scouring through several city blocks, her vision caught sight of her goal! She clicked her signal on for a left turn, slowing to an intersection and letting a truck drive by before pulling into an adequately sized parking lot. At least, that’s what it used to be before it fell into as much disuse as the building Courtney was looking for.
Turning the ignition off, Courtney attempted to haul herself out of her car, but her large derriere was wedged firmly between the seat and steering wheel. And the tail that snaked out from under her blue skirt didn’t help matters much as it clumsily squished about and around the back of the seat. The bit of chub poking out from under her light blue blazer was the least of her concerns as she pushed against the car frame with her large, draconic feet.
“Ugh, so close!” she cursed with a sarcastic smile on her face, trying to squeeze herself out of the cursed car. Except in actuality, it wasn’t the car that was ‘cursed’. “Why couldn’t my body have stayed normal for just a bit more?” she whimpered aggressively.
Courtney gritted her teeth and pushed on the metal door frame as she attempted another wiggle. At long last she was able to propel her fat bottom out from the car, staggering forward and almost landing face first onto the pavement. Her thick tail and strong legs helped ensure that face of hers remained intact and her body free of scrapes and bruises as she uprighted herself in wide-eyed haste. Turning to glare at her car, she let out a sigh of relief before walking over and closing the door. She then turned around and faced her destination.
The small, two-story homeless shelter had been abandoned for a good six years after it ran out of funding. The dark brown paint was peeling off in large strips in many spots, especially around the stringcourse, whose elegant form protruded from the building and received a harsher treatment from the elements. It was as if the building had given up on existence, and was retiring itself to its sad fate. Until the Society of Bliss acquired it.
A small crowd of victims of that terrible sculptor hung around just outside the door leading into the previously abandoned shelter. Whether they were seeking help or catching a breath of fresh air, all of them had watched Courtney during her clumsy ordeal of escaping the confines of her car, and a few were even smiling a bit, chuckling at the ridiculous sight. But from the looks on their faces, they meant no ill will in their reaction. For as Courtney could clearly see, her she wasn’t the only one with certain problems with her body.
A boy, no more than fifteen in appearance, was missing both of his arms. His face was that of a snake, pushed out into an ophidian muzzle, but he could have been born that way. No, it was the presence of legs but the lack of arms that was the clear message that something happened to him. The brown jacket he wore was worn and dirty, as were his black pants. His leather boots were too large for his still-growing feet. It was as if he grabbed whatever he could get before he was thrown into this situation. Or worse, found it after he was kicked out of his home.
The older girl standing next to him was in even worse shape. Replacing her mouth were two large spider mandibles, while six additional eyes accompanied her two ever-black eyes. Courtney expected to see additional pairs of arms, but instead her two arms ended in large crab pincers, her right one noticeable larger than the other. Her green T-shirt and blue jeans could do nothing to hide her exposed feet, which had elongated into the hooved legs of a horse. While it was hard to make out her expression, it was clear by her eyes that she did not want any of this.
“Yok heer fo heelp?” the spider chimera girl spoke through a series of guttering sounds as opposed to normal human speech.
“Sorta,” Courtney responded, doing her best to sound respectful to these unfortunate victims of that horrid sculptor. “I’m here to see Lynzie.”
As if the universe heard her request, the door to the shelter opened up, revealing a young man dressed in a purple sweatshirt and blue jeans, with a pair of brown sandals adorning his feet. Courtney could have sworn he was human when she first saw him. But after a second of seeing his face, she noticed a pair of giraffe ossicones protruding from his short brown hair. And forming out from his face was a giraffe muzzle. And trailing down the sides of his neck was a giraffe fur pattern. By the amiable look on his pleasant animal face, it was quite clear that between that and his tamer appearance that he must have been a member of the Society of Bliss.
“I heard someone was looking for Lynzie?” the man inquired, his voice a welcoming higher pitch in tone.
“Yes,” Courtney replied, stepping forward to the entrance from where the man stood. “I need to speak to her about an important matter.”
The man’s eyes scanned Courtney’s body from head to toe, before leaning on the door with a friendly smirk. “Looks like you might have already met with her. You must have been that lawyer she was talking about a while ago.”
Courtney blushed a bit, not aware that the Society of Bliss wasn’t immune to gossip. Especially regarding something like this.
“Indeed we have. Is she around?” Courtney did her best to maintain a calm attitude, lest she get emotional and her body begin to transform even more.
“Well, you’re in luck,” the man started, relaxing himself from the door as he held it open. “She just got back an hour ago from visiting another shelter on the other side of the city. Come on in!”
Courtney thanked the man with a nod as she walked into the shelter. She entered into a dull waiting area - complete with a secretarial desk - that had been obviously cleaned up for its current purpose. The walls were a muted purple while the hard concrete floors a dull grey, much like the ceiling. Bits of debris remained in the corners, neglected for the time being as the new owners focused on more pressing issues. The man quickly dashed around Courtney over to behind the desk to quickly check something on his laptop. His face beamed a bit more as something on the screen caught his eye.
“Aaah!” he let out, before looking up at Courtney. “Seems Lynzie was actually expecting you.”
Courtney raised an eyebrow. “She was?”
“She said in this email here that she had a feeling you’d seek her out after your… condition started to intensify?”
The mere mention of the fact that had been plaguing her for the past few days stirred some embarrassment inside her. And in that moment, she let her guard down, as she had in the car. With a surge of warm tingles and cuddly thoughts, her tail exploded out from its previous three foot length to an impressive five feet, growing thicker as it snaked out onto the floor. She twisted around to confirm the feeling she had felt in her spine, only for her to almost lose her balance as her thighs wanted to grow bigger too, widening by another inch to ensure she didn’t get back in her car until this was finished. She looked up at the man, her face even redder than before.
“I see!” he said as he nodded his head in confirmation. “Well, okay, that’s pretty ‘serious’. You better head on upstairs and see her in room 222.”
“Thank you,” Courtney humbly said, not wanting to waste anymore of his or her time but still being appreciative of what he’s done.
As she walked through waiting room and down a hallway to the stairwell, she considered this act. She’s been finding herself more and more empathetic to others ever since Lynzie bestowed this condition upon her. Trying to be more understanding of others and appreciate their actions and sacrifices. She never used to be like this when she first became a lawyer. Wanting to strive for those seemingly glorious rewards of success, her heart had hardened in order to brace herself for the difficulties ahead. But as a result, she threw away happiness, fun, and empathy.
Until Lynzie stepped into her life.
Climbing up the recently cleaned-up stairwell, she passed through the door and entered another hallway. Her mind so occupied with thoughts, she hadn’t noticed what adorned these lively hallways: decorated in colourful banners while people of all ages and races and unfortunate fates hung around, talking with one another or waiting to meet with a member of the Society. A few looked down her way to notice the curious pink human/dragon hybrid that had stumbled into their realm.
With all of the victims looking up to her, Courtney’s haste to find room 222 increased. She didn't like the eyes of these peculiar people upon her. After a few steps, she found it, its wooden door wide open. She heard a familiar voice inside.
“There, feeling any better?”
Courtney peaked her head inside and saw Lynzie sitting on the edge of a bed beside a teen boy. The beautiful hippie woman looked similar to the last time they had met, with long golden hair trailing down past a pair of small furry ears and onto her back, her nose a soft rhinarium. Her neck was a little longer than most humans’, and her hands and fur-covered, four-toed feet had webbing between their digits. That same rainbow bikini and skirt from before adorned her body, keeping her modest, but still exposing much of her hybridized body.
The boy sitting next to her was wearing what looked like a pair of red pajamas, which covered most of his furry body, his feline face, hands and feet fully exposed. But from a quick glance, there didn’t appear to be anything ‘wrong’ with him.
“Much better. Thanks, Lynzie!” the boy replied, his voice vibrating the air with positivity and hope.
As if knowing they had a visitor, Lynzie turned her head and smiled up at Courtney. “Hey there.”
It was after a second of confusion that Courtney realized why Lynzie had to raise her face a bit. Twisting her face back to her body, she soon learned that her neck had extended by a foot as she peeked inside the room.
“Seems you’re having a bit of a problem with… self-control,” Lynzie noted, before letting out a short giggle.
“You could say that again…” Courtney said under a veil of red embarrassment as she walked into the room. She was going to sit down in one of the chairs of the simple bedroom, but a quick scan revealed that once she sat in it, it would become permanently fused to her impossible thighs. She remained standing. “I’m… well…”
Lynzie tilted her head, those warm eyes peering into Courtney to help find her the right words.
“Well, I guess first I should say… I’m sorry for what I was going to do to you and your people,” Courtney started, feeling it better to put Lynzie and her group over her own needs and condition. “After much consideration, research and… ahem… thought,” her face reddened some more, this time with a pinkish colour as it pushed out into a muzzle with pleasantly fast fluidity, “it turned out you and your people really are an asset to our community during these dark times. And I apologize for not seeing that and for trying to help that couple oust you.”
Lynzie’s smile grew, closing her eyes as she nodded in response to Courtney’s confession, before standing up and opening them up once more.
“Thank you, Courtney,” Lynzie said as she walked over to her. “I understand it must have been a bit tough and tricky, especially after forcing you into this.” Lynzie brought her left hand up to her chest and looked off to the side. “Which is why it’s my turn to apologize to you.”
“Oh!” Courtney said, not quite expecting the woman who helped open her eyes to say that.
“After I transformed you and left your office, a small part of me dreaded what might have happened instead. My intention was to help you see the happiness of your past and bring that into the present. To help you try to see where we are coming from by helping you, Courtney. But…” Lynzie trailed off, her face looking just a touch more sullen, “I feared you could have also took it as an assault, resisting any sort of happiness I tried to open up in you and having me arrested for transforming you against your will.”
Lynzie lowered her hand and looked back up at Courtney. “I shouldn’t have done that, this, to you, Courtney. But in the moment, I just wanted to protect what we were doing for the city. I… I let it get to my head, and my people could have been put in even more danger as a result of what I did to you. I hope… I hope you can forgive me.”
Courtney stood there, blinking her eyes as she took in Lynzie’s confession. And then a smile manifested on her face as she nodded slowly at the hybrid woman. “Thank you… Lynzie.”
“Hug?” Lynzie offered.
Courtney shrugged and closed the gap between the two of them as the two mostly strangers embraced one another in forgiveness and progression.
“Now… could you also help me with… my… ugh…” Courtney tried to speak, but the tender hug caused her changes to return, her breasts deflating into floppy pecs while her belly blossomed out into a massive mass that looked like it could dwarf her car. Courtney resembled the fictional character Kelvin the Big Pink Dragon more than herself.
“Oh dear! You really have… oh my,” Lynzie exclaimed as she stepped back, bringing a hand up to her mouth as she held back a quick laugh. “Most certainly, Courtney! I can-”
Courtney quickly lowered her head to Lynzie’s left ear and muttered something before she could continue. Lynzie looked up at the dragon lawyer, her smile creeping larger.
“Really now?”
Courtney simply blushed, her eyes looking off to the side. “Yeah.”
Lynzie let out a short giggle, before she planted her left hand on the right side of Courtney’s chest. Courtney closed her eyes as a wave of golden energy flowed into her and throughout her body.
Immediately, Courtney’s tail surged with additional flesh and vertebrae, thickening into a 1.5 foot thick python that trailed around her by about eight feet. In the past the sudden growth would have caught her off guard; but she anticipated it, maintaining her stance on her unchanging digitigrade feet, swaying only slightly from changes made to her tail. Her four clawed toes curled in suspense as she felt her entire lower torso reshape and shift all the fat and flesh that had been magically deposited there earlier. The mass morphed and gurgled in and out in a cacophony of fleshy sounds as her almost cartoony and feral lower body adjusted itself into a more humanoid form, the tail now coming out from between her buttocks instead of continuing forth from her body like it did in the past. Her blue skirt was tight against her colossal thighs, but still manageable for the draconic woman.
But all that redistributed flesh had to get deposited somewhere. And that destination was her belly, which ballooned out even further out from her light blue blazer and creeping over her skirt. It just barely stopped itself from spilling out even further, but even at its current size, Courtney’s belly rivaled any beachball there was, a truly massive round ball of flesh that jiggled with every move she made. She pressed her left hand on it, moaning from the sensation of being so large yet somewhat more humanoid in form than before.
While her arms remained unchanged for the most part aside from some additional thickness, her neck on the other hand was swelling with more and more flesh, the base of it growing much wider than her head. All that growth spurred the neck to elongate, growing to a length of 2.5 feet, which tapered slowly in girth until it reached the happy head dangling off it. The ears of said head elongated out into long points, while the bridge of her muzzle rose and grew, giving Courtney an even more draconic and animalistic look. That smile never faded as the last of her changes reached her dark brown hair, transitioning it into a rose pink.
With a soft sigh of satisfaction, Courtney looked down Lynzie, who was back to sitting beside the young boy, who had been listening and watching all of this from the very start.
“Wow!” the boy cried. “You look just like that one character… Kelvin! The Big Pink Dragon!”
Courtney let out a timid chuckle. “Awww, well… he was one of my favourites growing up. And… I just loved this body so much that I thought I might stay like this for a while.”
“What about getting in and out of your car?” Lynzie asked, much to Courtney’s minor shock, not expecting her to have brought up such a reality.
“Ach, I was thinking of trading in that oldy anyway. Something bigger.”
“Really now?” Lynzie said, giggling at the ‘coincidence’ of such thoughts.
“Maybe a van, or SUV.”
“A van probably would be better, in case you get any bigger, Courtney.”
“I suppose, ha ha,” Courtney scratched the back of her head as she considered the option, before a spark appeared in her eyes. “Oh! One more thing!”
“Hmmm?”
Courtney took a quick breath before continuing. “I’ve actually been considering lending you my services, Lynzie.”
Lynzie’s eyes grew wide, the first time the lawyer’s ever seen Lynzie caught off guard like that. “Woah… you… would?”
Courtney nodded her head humbly.
“Oh my goodness!” cried the hybrid woman as she jumped off the bed and gave Courtney’s belly a big hug. Though her belly was still much bigger than the hug. “Thank you! You… you have no idea how much this will help us, Courtney. Thank you.”
Courtney brought up her arms and hugged Lynzie close to her cuddly mass, embracing the leader of the Society of Bliss. Lynzie had helped her out from the shadowed and veiled life she had lived for so long. Now it was Courtney’s turn to help Lynzie, and the people who were making the city of Idallen a better place, as the Big Pink Dragon Lawyer.
And so ends An Alleviating Tale! Lynzie and the Society of Bliss are all safe, and have a new ally with a recent "convert", Courtney!
This is probably one of the first series I've started that I've actually fully ended! It's about time, right? XD
I hope people had a good time reading it and enjoying the illustrations! While this final form isn't quite as extreme as originally planned, I did want to end on a safer and tamer note. Who knows! Perhaps we'll see her involved in some silly, blissful, shenanigans down the road! ;)
Especially since I know there was one particular transformation-diving devilish fellow out there who was looking forward to when she goes all out. Well! I did have a number of sketches where she did go a bit large and strange, before I settled on this final design! I could always post those as scraps, or maybe we'll wait and see if in the future she decides to have some fun. Let me know what you think! =)

This has been a very touching series! Loved the lightheartedness of it! A little clarification here though, is Courtney a unique case in that she can actually turn back unlike most others? Just a little curious as to what the rules for transformation are. Like from what I got from this is that Courtney can turn back but now thanks to Lynzie she has more control over it. But for most victims it seems like the changes are permanent and people like Lynzie make them more accommodating and less inconvenient to their lives.
Thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! ^^
Ah yes! In the cases of the victims, they've been transformed by a particularly nasty sort of magic developed by a more sinister entity whose magic tends to corrupt people down to their "blood" and DNA, their changes almost being fully locked in, and very difficult to undo. Even someone like Lynzie can often only alleviate such magics; with great focus and blessing from Bliss, she can rarely perform a miracle and fully restore someone, but such are very rare occurrences. Bliss-given changes and most normal mana-induced transformations Lynzie can undo by the power Bliss has given her.
In Courtney's case, because the transformation was brought on by Bliss, and connected with Courtney's inner happiness and joy, Courtney is able to turn back to human when she can. She now has better control over it thanks to Lynzie and opening herself up to Bliss, which may allow her to change her own body more to her liking, and when she wants to.

Thanks! ^^ Ha ha, well now! As I mentioned in the description, there were several versions where she was very much naked, with plenty of mass and parts exposed, some even in strange places! But I felt them to be a bit too much for the direction and ending I was going for.
But! Now that it's over and she's a member of the Society of Bliss, I'm sure we'll be seeing her some time in the future, hanging out at home free of restrictive clothing. Let us see just what she looks like, maybe having changed her form up a little bit. ;)
I am actually hoping to explore her more in shorter little tales, and maybe a new longer series later down the road!
