It sure has been a while, hasn't it? ^.-.^;
I originally planned for this one to be done about a month ago, but stuff kept getting it pushed back to... well, just now. X3
I, like many, am a big fan of Aggretsuko. With it's likable characters, relatable scenario's and typical Japanese anime-humor. =P And Haida... Oh mrawr, you thirsty furry-bait you~
This piece... Well, it's a weird one for me personally. I like it a lot more now than I did when I first drew it. Mostly because I'm not too keen on drawing objects. Especially not anything rectangular or table-shaped. Even here it shows how the perspective is really off on that particular part.
But Haida came out nicely~ I always like it when I get the chance to draw fatties in blouses or suits, because then I can really let go and play with the tightness of the clothing and size of the bulging fat~

Oooooooooooooof~ AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH goooooooooshhhhhhhhhhhhh, ya captured this voracious yeen in his natural habitat spectacularly~!!!! Geeeeeeeeze, just imagine him letting out an utterly thunderous belch in place of a gasp after the button blasts through the monitor, all that plentiful blubber spilling out in beautiful fashion, vigorously sloshing n’ quaking about as the blubberyena fiercely blushes, requesting more sandwiches be brought right to his desk after the whole scenario~ x//3 Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh godddddddddddd, everything from his blubbery face seemingly resting on top of that halo of blubber in a comical manner to the fat bulging out of his essentially non-existent suit and the handles supporting the armrests of that poor, poor chair, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh ya outdone yourself with thissss~!! Geeeeeeeeze, keep up the absolutely groundbreaking blubber hereeee~!! <3 <3
Well, anybody who says this was unexpected is clearly lying. Although I must say, I wouldn't expect that shirt (and that button) would have held for so long, containing that much hyena! I guess those Japanese clothe makers are onto some extremely advanced technology. Sadly, that has turned regular shirts into potentially fatal weapons... at least for electric equipment. And if Haida keeps eating, that is only bound to happen again!
What a marvelous pic! You really outdid yourself on this one. I love his pose and his expression, especially how he is spilling out and over the chair with all that excess flab. Yet I have to digress with you about the table: I think you did an excellent job. I think the perspective is right and even the stuff on it is consistent with the viewing angle. Plus those electric bolts are a very nice touch. Thanks for sharing!
