My first original anthro character I ever made. He's based on my Pet Society pet and this was for a Pet Society contest (which I sadly missed the deadline). He's my crossdressing Saluki. Here he'd dressed in a 18th century French gown.

how awesome! You do such a great job with the folds of the skirt/dress. I need to figure out how to do those.

I used a painting reference in my college Humanities book for the clothing. I've always highly advised using references, especially for drawing folds in clothing. Though you have to be careful of the reference and how you're using it to avoid art theft.

true, but as long as it's not considered tracing, I think you'd be safe.
but then again, I'm not entirely sure of the tricks of the trade like that when it comes to referencing.
