Its bowsette because it's the feminine addition whoever happens to be wearing the new crown! ie; toad turns into toadette, a female version of toad that bears a strong resemblance to peach when wearing the crown!

so peachette is female peach then? does that mean normal peach is a guy?
peachette was called peachette cause it was toadette turned peach, the ette wasnt used to mean female it was used cause it was part of toadettes name. therefore the name is a combination of the two characters names, like a fusion, and would mean other characters would follow the same naming method which would also mean if bowser used the crown he wouldnt be called bowsette cause he wouldnt use ette he would be a called a combination of bowser and peach therefor something like powser would be proper
