Still, Kass+Lopin...too much chemistry. Poak could still be like the new best friend (or another best friend besides Kass human friend).

Good gods, looking at them side by side like that it's damn hard to believe they're both part of the same (admittedly mutant-prone) species. Holy crap his kangaroo legs and klllin' claws.

Out of all the ships featured so far, even after 4 years, this remains the only ship that doesn't require Kass to undergo a complete personality replacement to work. It feels a lot more organic, and that's what makes it stand out from the rest (at least, for me personally).
Also, AFAIK, this is the only ship where Kass (almost) accidentally mentions they were once a human.
