The book I'm talking about now is my third how-to. While the book I did in 2004 WAS partly about dragons, it was also a little over half other fantasy creatures. This means that I really wasn't able to go as indepth into the anatomy as I would like. THe first two books I did were 128 pages. The third one is goign to be cover to cover dragons, and 160 pages. Since I drew it in 2009 and not 2004, I'd like to say that the art is a bit nicer too. I'm very excited about it! Still finishing up the last few spot and side illustrations. It should be out sometime 2010.

Looks great! though i'm curious, the strap that goes under the wing, the one that has the intricate detail... How is it going under the wing when the membrane and it's wing appendage joint are in the way?

(Nah, I added the saddle on after the fact on a layer above so it could come on and off. You'll notice his little back spikes poke through as well. I reallyneed to pierce the wing and get rid of those spikes at some point.

Ooooh ok I gotcha! Yeah it's tough trying to get a design worked out that doesn't clash with the dragons design D:

Eh, every single time I've seen someone draw a conventional saddle for a dragon, it has the same problem. That's one of the more matter-of-fact solutions I've heard :)
