photoshop. the foundation is a line drawing made with 8B pencil. it was quite black.that's where the texture comes from

Oh good god one year I pray to be able to color that good I'm not much of an artist myself other then abstract but this is quite epic. I seriously hope with the same amount of dedication I put in now one year i'll get even close to your skills.
