"Hopps is hurt! shes back pedaling towards the ropes. Swiftfoot is looking to end it as he continues to land hits. Hopp's is desperate and tries to make some room but Swiftfoot counters and DOWN GOES HOPPS!" Shes sprawled on the canvas as the referee goes to count. The crowd is going crazy! That punch could be heard all the way from the rafters, Hopps isn't moving much on the canvas and...yes theres the bell IT'S OVER! Judy Hopp's has been knocked out by Shadow Swiftfoot!..."
In what was considered a major upset Judy Hopps was knocked out in the 5th round to debuting Shadow Swiftfoot, Judy had only to win this bout and her next to gain a title shot. Anaylsts said that Judy looked like she was coming in to this fight a bit soft looking, perhaps under trained and this was confirmed by the early fight knockout and the difference in how the fighters ended with Shadow taking light damage during the 5 rounds and Judy taking alot before she was finally finished. Hopp's was taken to her locker room to be looked over by our ring doctor who said she will be physically fine. Miss Hopp's did not make herself available to comment after she awoke but her coach, trainer, and partner Nicholas Wilde spoke to reporters.
"Judy will be fine after some rest. She came in to this fight unprepared and over confident. She takes both our careers as officers and fighters very seriously and felt she could devote more time to her recent cases than preparing for this match. She made a mistake and paid for it with a hard loss. She says she is sorry she let her fans down and needs to make a decision on what her priorities are in the future. Judy wants to congratulate Shadow on his victory and hopes she can get a rematch with him in the near future."
Well it was going to happen sooner or later. Judy lost. This was always allowed btw,
