Addendum 1471-1
After just over six years, researchers here at the foundation have attempted to upgrade MalO from ver1.0.0 to ver1.0.1 for experimental purposes. The image above displays the results of the experiment; SCP-1471-A seems to have changed appearance drastically and now looks much more "cute" than threatening. Its communication skills have also drastically improved; it can now speak full sentences and appears to have no malicious intent whatsoever. SCP-1471-A's revised communication skills have allowed us to conduct further research that was previously impossible, providing us with such information as the subject in question is actually completely docile and mainly just wants those who download the app to enjoy its presence, almost as if it is a "virtual friend" looking for a companion. Further research on SCP-1471 will be conducted over the following weeks.
