Finally! Here at last is the final product of the past semester's work in Barry Zundel's 3D Animation class. This took over 80 hours total to model, texture, rig, and animate. Good times in the 3D Lab...
His name is Krepe (pronounced like "creep"). He's been around for a long time. The first time I drew him was back in 2004. When I was 15. He had a tail back then.

God that is so natural and fluid. I love the extra finger animations. And when he hops off the table and walks away it just works so very well.
Fabulous work, I'm in a class right now learning to rig and animate my rig so I feel your pain in this whole process.

This is some very impressive work, and I do like the dedication placed into bringing all of this together so well. Intriguing character look as well, and I wouldn't mind knowing more about him.
Thank you very much for taking the time to put all of this together. Keep up the goodness, and may you have great fortune upon all of your creative endeavors.

THANK YOU, finally I see some excellent 3d character work. Timing, a sense of weight, correct anticipation and easing... kudos to the secondary animation as well! All around fantastic work. The only possible critique I have is that the walk cycle seems a tad stiff, perhaps leaning too far forward (since he's missing that tail) but other than that you succeed with animation: you brought that character to life! *favs*
I really love the sense of weight you give to him when he comes off that edge. Awesome stylized anatomy. Very impressed. I also like the sense of timing you have here. He's really thinking about what he's going to do next. Did you put this into a flash image sequence? Anyhow, very nice. Be proud! Lots of hard work paid off. I know just how infuriating 3d animation can be x_x
Lovely smooth animation of got there. My only thoughts on how you can make that better is by having the character blink when he turns his head quickly because people naturally blink when turning their heads. Another thing you could do is to bob the head down a little as he turns it.
I look forward to seeing more.
