And you're right about how he became a misogynist douche later on, the to the point where he made nasty replies to some of his longtime readers and it finally made me quit Cerebus in disgust. But the comic itself had changed as well, from being fun to becoming outright pretentious and windy. Dave Sim is the world's worst prose writer.
