relax.when Picard returned the drone named Hugh to the collective a lot of the Borg freed themselves from the collective.i was one of them so i no longer assimilate others...unless of course they want to be assimilated

you will still be an individual,your thoughts will be your own.
you will gain the ability to use Borg technology including Borg shields and the ability to interface directly with any computer.
however I've altered my nanoprobes so that you won't have Borg Injection Tubules like i do so you won't be able to assimilate anyone...i don't want those i assimilate to start randomly assimilating others so I've taken steps to prevent this.

I could understand if someone posts a ton of pics of the same thing, but yeesh, they're too gripey about SL pics on here, I think.

Of the people I know here only  DocWolph is both a furry and a star trek fan of sorts. Maybe he knows more like-minded people. And he made a in some ways similar universe.

thanks.i tried to keep his clothes as close to the eye color and flower.
his species is a joined species like the Trill.the flowers on both sides of his head are the only part of the flower symbiont that exists outside the body.the rest of the symbiont is wrapped around the bones in the skeleton strengthening them.

the flowers act as super solar collectors that supply the flower symbiont with energy and gives some of that extra energy and nutrition to the host.this results in the host requiring less food to sustain itself.

theoretically he could instruct the nanoprobes to attach themselves to the symbiont and enhance them to the point that his skin gains the hardness of bark and vines are able grow out of his fingertips and entangle someone but he has never done so fearing that it would hurt the symbiont.

another interesting thing about the the symbiosis is that hosts often have the ability to telepathically communicate with plants and increase their growth rate.

i got the idea of a symbiotic flower from a Voyager episode in which Tuvok and Nelix combined into one being do to a flower they found on a planet and the transporters.
