Sarina stumbled upon a vast, highly advanced civilization who, as many do once they reach those late stages of technology, decided to create a vast ring world to show off their technological might, and to compress a lot of their civilization into one easier to defend point, with their local star in the center, acting as their battery.
Yet they didn't quite seem to realize that when a sun-dwarfing goddess comes along, well, their world gives off quite another impression than that which they designed it for; and the fact that it is an INVERTED ring world at that just makes them all the better in her eyes!
Thus teasing as she does best, she simply slips on her new toe ring and continues on her merry way; and as for the system's sun, well who knows what she did to it~
