I like this pic. I can't help but think of those old Rumple Minze posters that had the snow barbarian girl riding a huge polarbear.

Lol, my first thought when i saw her "conan would be proud of her"
Snow, mountains, swords, armor(well, there IS some ) and - snow leopards =^^=
The "halo" on her upper torso/arms/tail is a bit irritating i must say - her feet and lower legs down't show it.
Comment to the sword:
Try to move the tip into the earth, the sword is sharp and heavy, that won't just "hover" over the soil.
It may not work with that background, but would add a very nice detail to the picture.

Actually, a good battle blade isn't that heavy. I have a longsword of that quality, and it's barely more than three pounds. If I could find another swordsmith of the same skill, a Scottish greatsword would only be about five pounds. If you're going to be fighting for literally hours on end in a battle, you want a sword to be as light as possible. A heavy sword would get you killed pretty quickly.
What a beautiful piece; the character is lovely, her shape, her clothing, her hair and face are utterly perfect, and the background is a fantastic compliment to her species - feels very cold, but she clearly doesn't mind :)
If this doesn't steal the show, I'll be quite surprised ^^

Pretty nice, this is how I wanted to draw furry art back when I first discovered that girls + fur + tails = omg hawt. My attempts at drawing the female of my dreams more often than not looked like taxidermy experiments gone horribly wrong. Took me many years to be able to draw what I saw in my mind, and if I had a picture like this back then, I would have fallen in love.
