Alorana is the High-Goddess of Love and Happiness, she wears a mask to hide her eyes which are so beautiful they're dangerous, even glancing into them causes you to fall desperately in love with her, a spell so strong only she can break it. she's the goddess of the Alorian religion, in depictions of her she does not wear a mask but simply does not have eyes, the Alorian origin of the phrase "love is blind". Alorana is a benevolent god like all High-Gods but her wrath is potentially the most dangerous, Alorian's believe all good things come by Alorana's blessing in which case just imagine what such a being could take from you.

Maria-Jaye Alaura is Alorana's only child. She has had other children but not for many centuries. Maria-Jaye is not recognized as a Demi-God by the Alorian Church but they do not shun her for her claim and she herself doesn't care for such recognition.
