Poor Luane. The intricacies of popularity in The Academy are largely based on how skilled you are at magic, and outside of some few exceptions, this is based largely on genetics. Folks like Luane, who were born with lower than average magic skill, tend to get pushed aside in favor those with flashier skills. This is largely why her and Ambri are friends, since Ambri also sucked at magic before she was transformed into a succubus. Now, though, Ambri is quite powerful, and has decided to help our poor reindeer girl with her problem. That said, Ambri is quite... mmm... vindictive against those who would do her or her friends wrong. Well, as long as the bullies leave Luane alone, nothing will go wrong, right?
