Residing in the Passage between the worlds of life and death Abyslin guides the souls of the dead into the next world whilst also taking a tiny piece of their soul from them, ensuring they could not return to life without his blessing, something he only gives when it is a truly catastrophic necessity. Abyslin, like other neutral gods, cares not for mortal affairs. Good and Evil are petty words in his eyes, a pacifist dedicated to good or a genocidal murderer he would lead both through the Passage with equal diligence. All that matters to him is maintaining the balance, the dead must stay dead and the living need not know what awaits. Necromancers seek his favour but he sees them as no more than a threat to the balance he stands to guard and the few who succeeded in glimpsing into the world of the dead or the Passage between were swiftly met by Abyslin's scythe, the souls of those slain by Abyslin's on hand do not see the other side, nor does he guide them through the Passage, the fate of their souls is known to none save for Abyslin himself.
