Oh I've had friends I've lost contact with, mostly due to moving. *Sigh.* I know exactly how Biro feels.
It's a shame that notebook was ruined. I wonder if you can still salvage it and keep hold of the memories. But then again, maybe it should stay there. Because it is time for Art to turn to the next page of his story and start anew.

It was important that notebook was ruined. Art was only interested to save one single page from it.

I guess that's true, he really doesn't need the other pages because what those other pages hold is irrelevant now that he has Biro.
