Thing I like: Multiple heads, multiple voices
Apto: Music
It's time again for the hydras! My love for multi-voiced creatures is pretty well summed up in the description in their first appearance.
To the single-headed it’s impossible to describe how naturally it comes for the three voices that are "me" to work in tandem. The best analogy would be fingers. You have total control of all of them, can move them all independently, and do all sorts of actions simply by muscle memory. Heads are the same just on a larger scale and with voices and expressions. It’s not hard to see how to move and speak in perfect synchronicity, and how wonderful it is.
The song itself is an original tune, a prayer called "God good morning":
God, good morning, thank you, I'm sorry, please help me (repeat x 3)
Please help me, please help me, please help me
Simple and to the point. :P
I still toy around with original melodies on my piano and save them as MIDI files to USB, but it has been a hot minute since I wrote (or even READ) sheet music. The mnemonics I picked up throughout music classes all came rushing back pretty confidently though! There might still be mistakes. I wanna see if I can make and upload a recording of the song. EDIT:
alsin did it for me! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1em.....X3iCYhEy0/view

Acappella would be raised to a whole new level with creatures like these.
I always wondered if multiheads would have to default have bird like lungs instead of what we have. So one of the three heads could always be inhaling while the other one or two uses the exhaling air to sing. Or is the chest just wide enough to have a separate lung for each.

--!!! I never thought of that! Uninterrupted musical phrases as long as we want!
You'd just have to make sure the one inhaler is taking in enough air to keep up with the two exhalers. Or just have one of those two do regular singing/breathing.
GOSH, these hydras are looking more and more like living bagpipes.
