After their temporary alliance in conquering the dungeon and the boss monster that laid within, the duo decided to make their way to the nearby city to divide up the loot and go their seperate ways... or so the black fox thought. While dividing up the loot from the dungeon, the snowfox spoke to him.
"Aren't you tired of doing everything solo?"
The black fox never really thought of it before, but he supposed he would have an easier time as a spellcaster if he joined an adventuring party. But as he returned from his thought, his eyes caught something. spirals forming in the eyes of the shamanistic snowfox. He tried to look away, but, it was too late, his gaze fixed upon those swirls. His mind began to turn foggy. He couldn't think straight. He only began to nod in response to the snowfox.
"Why don't you let me handle all of the loot, and you can just join my party. Join up with me. Be my party member. Won't that be nice?"
The black fox could only find himself nodding in response while gazing deeper into those eyes. His vision was pretty much all spirals by this point. He didn't want to resist his party leader any longer. He'd let his party leader take care of everything for him. all he had to do was obey and please his party leader. Easy! His eyes glazed over, and he noticed he was drooling. But, he was too busy gazing deeper and obeying his party leader.
"Now do me a favor won't you, and sign this magic contract? Don't bother looking upon it, just take this pen and sign.
The black fox couldn't believe for a split second that he was signing a magic contract without so much as even looking down at it first! But he knew whatever his party leader told him to do was for the best. He felt a magic power run through him, and he knew he belonged to the shaman snowfox now. But, this was all for the greater good of obeying his new party leader. So obviously it was what is best for him! This made him feel so very happy! He couldn't wait to obey and please his new party leader even more!
