Old sketchdump of Basil of Baker Street, from my fave childhood film "The Great Mouse Detective." Basil is one of my fave Disney boys - he maybe an arrogant, moody detective, but we love him anyway.
Some of the sketches were based off from the comics, concept art (including Glen Keane's rough suggestions), merchandise, and even screencaps as references.True, drawing Basil is very difficult. Luckily, I used the model sheets (which were done by Basil and Dawson's supervising animator, Mark Henn) by couple of fansites.
