Dr. Vamora's Notes: 029 Hydra Koi

Hydra Koi are dragon like Koi that have magical properties. They are seen as good luck and wealth. They often have appeared to those lost at sea or river to lead them back to safety. They have also appeared to those who are hurt or sad at the edges of water and try to comfort and heal them. They use healing energy and their beautiful soothing sounds to calm and always help others but can be used as defense. They are old souls and very long lived.

Art and stories have been found as far back as the prehistoric Eras. Hydra Koi live near water and come in all shapes and sizes. the Hydra Koi come in all sorts of breathtaking colors and patterns with deep water ones even having glowing eyes and markings.

Intelligence seems to be on the same level of Dolphins and Crows. If a Hydra koi chooses to stay with you or give you its egg it is one of the greatest gifts in the cosmos. Females bond with humans and other animals more than the males du to them being more nomadic and solitary. Though it is not unheard of.
There are a small handfull who have mastered breeding them and sell the eggs for high in the exotic pet trade.
