I know exactly what you mean. They are a lot of upkeep. The reason we have them is we produce our own hay and I love taking care of them. Horses have this smell about them that's just... Really good. I can't explain it.
It's really neat that your mom had a horse. Was her getting pregnant the specific reason why she got rid of her horse?

I'm not sure if that's exactly why (although I know it's why she had to give away a cranky dog named Princess, and I do feel guilty about that!), but I do wonder if she would have continued to have horses if she didn't have to have responsibilities like that!
Also, I'm sure horses smell lovely when you have one that's yours! I love my cat's smell, although I still call her "stinky" to be funny. 😂

I'm assuming some animals from Guarma, but also since I didn't know how the game was going to work (I've played so many and NONE screwed me over like this at the end!), I put some things off, like satchel upgrades, and then when I decided to do them, Pearson was gone. 😂 For good gone. (And I had already spent 2 hours trying to find a perfect squirrel pelt for my next upgrade! AAA)
And I know you can buy like, the best Satchel in the epilogue, but not...the less-best ones I missed, so I was told they're lost to me for the compendium forever. So...I'm working on the "fake 100%" instead, the checklist.
Also, my friend who also played the game is concerned about how my game/file is acting lately, and so am I. It behaved perfectly for probably the first 120 hours, but now it's a glitchy hellhole. There's too much going on to even try to unpack it here, but my latest one is that stranger encounters have halted dead. For about the past 30 hours of playing. No one's out on the road getting arrested and hauled away, no one's being abducted by bounty hunters or being attacked by wolves...those things. The world has gone dead, and...it's a little unsettling and sad. D; Any ideas on how to like...idk, fix that? I tried turning the PS4 off and back on a few times, and there have been two updates, but...my world is still silent and sad. I already did enough of those for completion, but it's still unnerving to me to have the game falling to pieces since one minor glitch, just one, prevented me from having a 100% complete FFXV file, and I've never been the same since. 😂

I can help you complete it if you like, i completed it at 100% so I can happily help you.
The guarma animals are not counted in the full completion, the same as rare guns because you only have to collect a certain amount of rare guns instead of all of them due to some are impossible to get once you pass the level of leave the body of who you get the gun off of.
So if you have a discord we can talk there and you can show me pictures of your compendium so I can tell you which are missing and how to get them.

Oh and for the other problem trying hard resetting your Xbox. Just press and hold the Xbox button on the actual Xbox until it shuts down, give it about 3-5 minutes then turn it back on. This will clear your cache.

WOAH ARE YOU SERIOUS??!?!?!? I was honestly SHOCKED by the inability to get a full completion, this game was so perfect otherwise (I was gonna give it a solid 10/10 on my Backloggery account!). I'm glad they had some kind of mercy - although the ability to go back, OR, a New Game Plus, would have been even better!

(I'm really trying to limit my socializing online lately, but I hope that once I get a better job I can start relaxing and talking to folks on Discord, etc! I'm working on it!!)

This glitch is sadly still happening...I'd say 1/3 times I encounter Lemoyne Raiders, they act like normal. And I've reset my PS4 fully (unplug and all, to take it with me places), and let the game update several times, and still...still they ignore me.
