I don´t think its that bad, as long you don´t let it sink to much in the cover, where it can´t suck in air anymore, and in Rl I mostly put it on my lab, so everything should be fine...usually they rather shut down than overheating too much. But yeah, isn´t worth the risk.

Oh yes, they still exist. Mostly I´m seeing them on small Kiosks where you can buy them for 5c per piece. Maybe the Glitter reminds you of the sugar covering.
