Something I've been working on lately are badges based on the traditional Rider Waite tarot deck. I've really gotten into pick-a-card readings on youtube and it's reawakened my interest in tarot. These cards are a fun challenge, having to create an entire miniature illustration in such a small space is not my typical cup of tea, and I have to balance using the original card as reference while improving some areas or taking a little more artistic license as I feel inspired to. It's so much fun to fit these characters into the cards though, I'm really enjoying this project.
