To me I belieave the three main video game consoles I put on the TOP MAIN LIST it had to be The Atari 2600, The Colecovision and The Nintendo NES and here's why. First off is the 2600 my first time I played it was givin to me by my mother for my B-day on 1977 that same year my mother also took me to see Star Wars. The feeling that I maybe the only kid in the block that has the 2600 made me the "Cool Kid" and aways has lots of friends to come and play it was also a great feel that I can play at home then waist money at the arcades. The next on my TOP LIST is the Colecovision in 82, this was the first unit that brings the ARCADE-LIKE games at home and I was Super Hyped! Not only that making arcade games to your own home but also making the other game company to make there units even better to compeat in the markets. And the nlast of my TOP LIST is The Nintendo NES in 1985. Lets face it folks this was THE unit that save the video game world as the video game crash of 84 came and killed alot of old time game companys like Intellivision, Coleco and others, Atari was hit really hard and the world just don't see video games as fun no more up came the Nintendo to put on a cape and save not only the game world but also made the gamers beleaive once again that having video games fun to play again. So I see these three units on my top of the list of great gaming. Whats your top fav game units?

Video games have always been a part of my life, though I started later than you. I had a Master System and a NES and enjoyed both. For some reason a lot of my friends were pro-nintendo and anti-sega back then. I've been a gamer ever sense, though my collection doesn't quite compare to yours. :)
i'm glad i managed to snag a atari 7800 apparently there are "rare" or something. i still have the original atari 2600 with the pegs on it instead of buttons :D nintendo was my favorite system as i got it when I was in kindergarten for christmas and played the hell outta some mario :D
I loved the atari...if mine still worked I would be playing it right now. I loved Jumpman, Pitfall, and Pacman the best.
As for the NES I loved the origional SuperMario Brothers, SuperMario Bros. 3, Q*bert, and Duck Hunt. I remember playing them alot with my neighbor. W had a blast. Though my NES isn't working very well I wish I could play it. I have some games I never really played since I bought it from a yard sale along with the games. ^^;
The Atari we had was one of the custom ones (keyboard built in) really that was my dad's, but I loved to play it alot. X3
