I've been spoiled by the intracity transit options in Tuccson Heights.
Frankly, it doesn't bother me too much, but the train lines back to the countryside run so slow ... add that to the list of reasons why I tend not to travel back to my hometown often. The rain is quite a surprise as well - there wasn't a single cloud above the city skyline this morning - not that I own any umbrellas or raincoats for such an event. It's no matter; a small slice of mental focus is all it takes to manipulate my scarf into adequate cover from the weather.
In hindsight, a hot drink would have been better to nab on my walk to the station ... but the boba tea is still nice. I find myself passing the time in the damp chilly air on my smartphone, either browsing through photos of stunning foreign places I will never visit or pasting heart emojis into the background of a selfie with a former friend. Not the most purrductive of activities, I'll admit.
This artwork by ShiroCAT365 (original post here) is easily another one of my all-time favorites. Shiro nailed down the scarf magic, and the detail in the background and boba and everything else keeps me coming back to study this commission often. Plus, look how amazing I look in high waisted shorts?!
