it was really early in the draft stages i was trying to figure out like... how to marry the performer aspect with a sphinx without it being too overpowering. then i saw photos of really pale colored barn owls and it was perfect, i forgot they could get so light!

We definitely don't see them that pale here in Aus, we have much darker/stronger contrasted ones. I've seen pictures of plenty of British ones that are super pale like this, though!
