Ok so it totally rips off toy story, but
devilduk 's dream and what not he rips off a lot of stuff
Morning light is blocked by a gray sky. Inside the windows of the empty bedroom what little light came through illuminating the room. A big mess, cardboard, socks and lint. North side of the room an entrance, a television to the left corner perched on a dresser and a mirror that sits between the door and T.V.
The bed sat in the south corner parallel to the TV against the east wall, and a window on the south wall. To the right of the window was a closet on the west wall. Also against the west wall was another dresser made of metal, but painted a wood color. The carpet was a light brown color, kind of thick but unlike the shaggy yarn carpet that proceeded the room before.
The room still, as the gray sky thins and illuminates the room a bit more. Something in the closet makes noise, until the door finally opens. A little leprechaun no taller then a soda can drags out a platform of gold about his size. He dressed in formal green coat and slacks, his coat tails curl upward. Atop his balding head a green top hat tilted to the right. The platform has a wheel planted on it and is attached to a little engine by a rubber band. A simple object seemingly harmless. A plug attached to the engine, grabs the little man's attention. His beard stretches as he smile a crooked toothy smile. He takes the cord and plugs it into an outlet.
The engine whirs and the wheel spins, moving the rubber band. Suddenly on the platform, holes open up in its gold base, and wires and gold rods connect to the engine, followed by a gold claw that grows out of the engine. The leprechaun laughs at his machine as it reaches for the wall.
The claw touches the wood finish, and an inch square tile of gold replaces a piece of the panel. Another square follows five seconds after, then another, and another. A second gold claw comes out and picks up a sock. The sock straightens and turns to gold.
The little leprechaun watches his gold machine work with sadistic thrill. His attention turns when at the north side of the room a voice calls out, “NOW!!!”
The drawer that supports the television opens and ten things jump out. A wooden cowboy seems to lead the group, “Get him!”
The objects charge after the unsuspecting leprechaun.
The little man stands on the platform and levers come out. He clutches the sticks and with his motion he controls the second claw. The claw opens wide and a bolt of electricity strikes, hitting an old fashion tin soldier. The soldier explodes and his pieces hit a running teddy bear lodging bits of tin in the bears side.
The claw picks up a DVD case, and throws it at the toys. The case turns to gold in mid air and its weight increases as it hits an action figure of a movie hero, snapping him in two. The remaining objects come closer and some are picked up and turned to gold other are broken.
The wood cowboy, a rabbit doll made of burlap material, and a chocolate elephant take cover behind a cereal box. The cowboy looks at his two counterparts “You're it?”
The rabbit and elephant nod simultaneously.
“Not good.”
The elephant makes a chocolatey smile, “I'll save us!” He leaves the cover to the horror of the cowboy. Seconds later a zap emits and shortly after the elephant slithers back, halfway melted.
“Well I guess I can't. Your turn!” the elephant says contently, and he bends his trunk and scoops a bit of his melted leg, eating it.
“I taste good!” The Elephant slithers on.
The cowboy and rabbit look at each other and both shrug. The cowboy peeks around the corner of the box and witnesses the machine turn the wall and other random objects into gold.
“Ok....” says the cowboy, “How fast are you?”
The rabbit replies, “ Are you kidding? I am the fastest!”
“Good! I want you to duck and cover through that obstacle. Run as fast as you can and stop that machine at all costs. That wheel! The one with the rubber band on it, break it.”
The rabbit nods, takes a breath, and jumps around the corner. The claw immediately takes notice and comes after him. The rabbits speed unmatched as he dives under a propped up shoe, over a bottle and sliding to a pencil that has turned gold. The claw snaps and zaps missing the rabbit at every turn. The rabbit takes the pencil, and when the claw made another snap at him, he swings knocking the claw off the golden arm.
The leprechaun shouts in fury, and lets go of the controls. They both run for the same cover of a cardboard box folded up and standing. The rabbit grabs a CD case at the same time the leprechaun takes a gold computer chip. They both swing around the corner and toe parts clash. The CD case snaps and the rabbit falls down, while the gold chip vibrates and shakes the leprechaun.
The little man drops the chip and jumps around the corner, “HA!”
The rabbit is gone. The leprechaun looks behind him seeing the rabbit charging at the machine. A marble on the floor is spotted nearby for the leprechaun. He takes it and throws it hitting the rabbit stopping the sack doll inches from the engine.
The rabbit struggles to a stand rubbing the back of his head. The leprechaun walks toward the bunny, “You can't win.”
The rabbit pants and looks at the wheel, then the leprechaun, then the wheel again.
“Its electrical. You touch it and it will burn you.”
Tired out, but determined, the rabbit smiles his stitched smile. The leprechaun's eyes widen as the rabbit leaps at the wheel head first. The wheel is clogged by the burlap neck and the band snaps.
The electrical circuit override the engine and it explodes, taking the whole machine down. The leprechaun falls to his knees and yells in despair.
“THERE HE IS!” Says the wooden cowboy, who is followed by support. A squad of toys from the play room. The leprechaun snarls and poofs, disappearing as the toys reach him. The gold begins to melt way into nothing erasing the fallen from existence. and amongst the rubble stuck out a burlap foot. The toys immediately start digging and they help up the sack doll. He stands up, but somethings wrong causing the toys to gasp.
A tuft of pulled cotton sits where the rabbit's head should be. The body shaking feels the cotton and cringes in pain. In the crowd comes the chocolate elephant, his legs partially reformed from his melted base.
“Where's his head?” He contently says.
A muffled cry from the rubble turns the squad toward it. They dig up the head of the rabbit. His eyes tired but triumphant, “Did we....did we get him?”
The squad cheers, all except the cowboy who is with the clueless rabbit's body. The cowboy sad and looking over the mess, so many lost. He puts an arm around the headless rabbit body and leads it to the crowd.
A short time passes and in the play room a little ceremony was arranged to honor the survivors. Toys, dolls, character shaped candy, and origami animals fill little rows of cardboard. At the head a fishing lure shaped like a fish stands at a podium. It wears a makeshift judges gown and cotton ball wig. To present the awards was the wooden cowboy. First call was the elephant, a ditzy chocolatey smile covers his face as he seems to be fully recovered and shaped. He gets a smile sticker for surviving.
They call the rabbit up, being the hero and saving the bedroom. He stands up, his head stitched on with leather. A pencil cane supports his weight as he is still recovering from his incident. His arm and chest is in a cast to keep him from turning his neck until his stitches adjust. He slowly walks up to the podium, being cheered on by the crowd.
A golden star is posted on the burlap chest by a proud cowboy. The crowd bursts into applause as the rabbit stands with a big stitched smile.
