I think that the Kursed persona was an inevitability for Krystal, had she never met Star Fox. Not only did Fox save her life, but he gave her a third chance at life by taking her onto the team and that gave her purpose, drive, and a home. Now she's a revered figure of good in the Lylat system that protects the people from invading legions of genocidal bugs. Her prospects are also quite high, as it's clear to her that Fox has the hots for her and teasing him until he squirms is a fun game to her. Overall, I like the conflict you've set up here, where Kursed appears to be almighty and all powerful, but she's already beaten. Krystal has a new life, family, and friends, and before too long she might have some kits on the way.
