Whoa! I almost cried. Your art is so powerfully realistic that it surfaced memories that were otherwise lost forever.

20 years ago my grandma's sister and her husband grew figs like this. They would boil the figs and can them every year. Sometimes we would get a can of sweet fig preserves from them to use on our toasted bread.

For a moment when I saw your art I could feel the surface of the figs again and smell the sweet scent of their jelly. ❤🥲
