Details:

Color: A dark muted blue, close to Catalina or Prussian Blue, and one of my favorite shades ngl Gareth decided to eschew more common gloomy black or grey robes for a somber, but brighter shade of blue, wearing his deity's sacred color not only on his holy symbol, but his clothes.
It's also the color of his eyes! I associate him so much with blue, I usually draw him with blue-greyish hair rather than the actual ashen blond. "Feeling blue" is honestly only a coincidence, but also very much fits him.

Flower: "The purple hyacinth flower is a symbol of deep sorrow and pain. They’re common funeral flowers because of this meaning, and they’re a creative way to honor someone and their grieving family." "Blue hyacinth means sincerity, true friendship and loyalty."

Animal: I looked through a lot of animals meaning death and mourning, but none really felt right. So what else if not a raccoon, like his precious adopted fuzzy son. But he would rather be a ghostly looking leucistic one. (Also depicted: a Whippoorwill, his deity's sacred animal)

Scent: Alternatively 'old furniture'. Something reminiscent of funeral parlors, but in a pleasant way.

Song: Link! One of the earliest additions to his playlist. Just perfectly gloomy.

Feeling: Comfort - something he wants to offer, but also something he desperately needs for himself. He actually found some not too long ago.
